Using your prints safely
Plastic prints have tiny gaps between layers that can hold dough and germs. For anything that touches food:
- Use a food-safe filament (for example food-contact PETG or PLA), and a clean, stainless steel nozzle if you can.
- Wash by hand in warm (not hot) soapy water and dry straight away. Most filaments warp in a dishwasher.
- Wrap cake topper sticks, or use food-safe filament, before pushing them into a cake.
- Practice cookies are for icing practice and photos only. They are not food.
Cutter Forge makes the 3D files only. You are responsible for choosing suitable materials and checking your prints before use.
